Edge’s Aquatic Attends the 2026 National Aquaculture Conference in Las Vegas, NV
This February, Edge’s Aquatic Services had the opportunity to attend Aquaculture America 2026, hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada. This annual national conference brought together aquaculture professionals, researchers, producers, and suppliers from across the United States and around the world for several days of learning, collaboration, and industry advancement.
Aquaculture America 2026 was hosted through a collaboration of several leading industry organizations, including the World Aquaculture Society, the United States Aquaculture Society, the National Aquaculture Association, the Aquaculture Suppliers Association, and the California Aquaculture Association. Together, these organizations help create one of the most important gatherings in the aquaculture industry, where science, business, and real-world application come together.
Who We Are at Edge’s Aquatic Services
Edge’s Aquatic Services is a family-owned and operated business built from the ground up right here in Georgia. What started as a small-town operation rooted in hard work and strong family values has grown into a trusted name in pond and lake management across the Southeast. (Edge’s Aquatic Services)
At our core, we are more than just a fish farm—we are passionate about helping families, landowners, and property managers create thriving aquatic environments that can be enjoyed for generations. Our mission has always been simple: provide high-quality fish, honest service, and real results that help our customers build the pond of their dreams. (Edge’s Aquatic Services)
What We Do
We offer a full range of pond and lake management services designed to create healthy, balanced ecosystems. Our work includes fish stocking, water quality management, aquatic vegetation control, electrofishing surveys, and aeration system installation. (Edge’s Aquatic Services)
Whether a customer is looking to grow trophy bass, improve water clarity, or restore balance to an aging pond, we take a customized, science-based approach to every project. With over two decades of experience, we understand that every pond is different—and we tailor our strategies to match each client’s goals. (Edge’s Aquatic Services)
From private farm ponds to large lakes and community water systems, our goal is always the same: create sustainable, healthy environments where fish thrive and water stays balanced year-round.
A Gathering of Industry Leaders
Attending Aquaculture America allows us to stay connected with the broader aquaculture community and continue learning from industry leaders. The conference features technical sessions, workshops, and presentations covering everything from fish health and nutrition to water quality and production systems.
One of the most valuable aspects of the event is the diversity of perspectives. Researchers, farmers, suppliers, and service providers all come together to share knowledge and real-world experience. These conversations often lead to practical insights that we can bring directly back to our customers.
Exploring New Technologies and Innovations
The trade show portion of the conference showcased the latest advancements in aquaculture technology. From improved aeration systems to more precise water quality monitoring tools, the industry continues to move toward more efficient and data-driven practices.
These innovations are especially important as aquaculture grows and evolves. Better tools and techniques allow for healthier fish populations, improved sustainability, and more consistent results for pond and lake owners.
Focus on Sustainability and Long-Term Success
A key theme throughout the conference was sustainability—both environmentally and economically. As the industry expands, there is an increasing focus on responsible practices that protect natural resources while maintaining productivity.
This aligns closely with how we operate at Edge’s Aquatic Services. Every pond we work on is treated as a long-term ecosystem, not a short-term fix. Our goal is to create balance, improve water quality, and support fish populations in a way that lasts.
Bringing Knowledge Back Home
One of the most valuable parts of attending Aquaculture America is bringing that knowledge back to our local community. While some topics focus on large-scale aquaculture, the core principles—water quality, balance, and proper stocking—apply to every pond, no matter the size.
We’re excited to continue applying what we’ve learned to better serve our customers across Georgia and the Southeast.
Looking Ahead
The aquaculture industry continues to grow, and staying connected to the latest research and innovations is essential. By attending events like Aquaculture America, we ensure that Edge’s Aquatic Services remains at the forefront of pond and lake management.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to attend this year’s conference and look forward to continuing to serve our customers with the same dedication, knowledge, and family values that built our business.
If you’re ready to improve your pond, stock fish, or create a healthier aquatic system, we’re here to help.
